A new mobile unit for COVID-19 testing will be open at Apollo Court, Vulcan Way, Coalville from Thursday.

North West Leicestershire District Council says this is being set up in an effort to boost the national testing capacity.

The drive-through test centre offers self-administered tests for essential workers on an appointment only basis.

Those tested will receive their results within a few days and the site is operated by the Department of Health and Social Care

The mobile testing unit will be open from Thursday, May 21 until Sunday, May 24.
