Conkers is staging The RETRO Rock Show in July.

The Waterside venue in Moira is slowly bringing events back to its calendar and The RETRO Rock Show is a live two-hour extravaganza of the greatest rock songs and power ballads of the 70's 80's and 90's!

It is scheduled for Saturday, July 3.

The Conkers website says it is performed by a five-piece band of the finest rock musicians who have toured with some of the biggest names in rock.

The site adds: "From the moment the lights go up and the band hit the stage you will be taken on a musical RETRO journey featuring songs by Bon Jovi, Starship, Michael Bolton, Tina Turner, Van Halen, REO Speedwagon, Cher, Whitesnake, Def Leppard, Billy Idol, Toto, Aerosmith, Guns n Roses, Queen, and many more!

"Every song is performed with high energy and a full stage production complete with pyrotechnics!

"A night for all ages to enjoy that will have you singing along to every song!"

It will be performed in the covered amphitheatre, the Arena at Waterside, with Licensed Bar and Burger Shack. Tickets £18.00 per person or 2 for £30 Early Bird.
