Conkers in Moira will be promoting its outdoor activities over the May Bank Holiday.

The award-winning visitor centre is inviting families and youngsters to learn survival skills and take part in arts and crafts along with a number of other attractions.

During the May Day Bank Holiday from May 4-6, adrenaline junkies can reach new heights on an impressively high ropes course or explore lakes onboard a kata-canoe.

Conkers' rangers will also be on hand to teach bushcraft survival skills, pond dipping techniques and lead a fascinating bug hunt.

For a change of pace, there will be daily drop-in arts and crafts each day at the Waterside Centre.

You can also put on your glasses at the 4D Cinema to watch Noah's wild escapades at the zoo and beyond, which is included in the admission price.

Also included in the price of admission will be:

• Conkachoo train rides

• Conkers Splash Park

• Live shows in the amphitheatre

• Enchanted Forest indoor play zone

Other activities can be booked for an additional cost, such as the go-karts and archery.

More information can be found HERE.

Tickets can be booked online HERE or by calling 01283 216 633.

Nicky Carlton from Conkers said: "We can't wait to welcome visitors this May Bank Holiday.

"Spring has sprung and the centre is looking ready to welcome families for a fun-packed day out - there really is something for everyone."
