A drop-in event to view plans for the new Holywell Spring Farm Primary School on Burton Road in Ashby is being held this week

Organised by Leicestershire County Council, it will give people a chance to see what the project will look like.

Representatives from the County Council, architects Kast and contractors Willmott Dixon will be on hand to provide further information.

The event is being held at Ashby Health Centre in Burton Road, LE65 2LP this Thursday, January 23, from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.

A planning application is being submitted over the next few weeks, showing detailed designs for the state-of-the-art school, which is expected to open for the start of the 2021-22 academic year.

The County Council says that the new school will be an Academy and the process to appoint a sponsor will start next month.
