Brush up on your festive preparations as Ashby town centre business holds Christmas workshops

The Health Workshop in Rushton's Yard is proud will be running Christmas workshops ahead of the festive season.

You can learn how to improve your gift wrapping or how to decorate the Christmas table.

The gift wrapping sessions will be held on Thursday, 16th November, from 7pm – 8.30pm; and Thursday, 23rd November, 7pm – 8.30pm

A step by step demonstration by Tina from Ashby Toolbox will teach you the techniques, inspiration and skills to make your presents stand out this Christmas.

Topics covered will include the use of ribbon and how to tie the perfect bow, wrapping awkward or large gifts, creating themed decorations, making your own gift tags and much more. The cost is £5 per person

Decorating the Christmas table sessions are on Thursday, 7th December 7pm – 8.30pm; and Thursday, 14th December 7pm – 8.30pm.

Here. an inspirational workshop will guide you through ideas and techniques to add the finishing touches to your Christmas table.

Learn how to use fresh or artificial foliage to create a stunning centrepiece, the use of candles and tea lights, how to make individual place settings, crackers and a clever use of old wine glasses. Again, the cost is £5 per person.

You can come on your own, or with friends, but you are promised a fun evening to help get you into the festive spirit.

Workshop-related goods will be available to buy on the night, together with an opportunity to buy gifts in the Health shop.
