Bin collections in the Ashby area will change over the Christmas and New Year period.

From today (Tuesday, December 20) until Friday (January 13) there will be alterations to waste collections.

Garden bin collections, including the additional garden waste service, will be suspended between December 20 and January 13.

Orders for bulky waste collections are also closed until the New Year.

But North West Leicestershire District Council says this will not affect existing orders.

You will keep your normal collection days for recycling - and will also receive three consecutive black bin collections through this period.
