Ashby's Youth Collective offering school uniforms for just a discount
By Grace Kennington 31st Jul 2026
School uniforms can be very expensive, especially when parents have to shop for multiple children at different schools.
The InspireYouth Collective in Ashby is helping to take some of this burden off parents with their school uniform rail.
InspireYouth Collective is situated on Ashby Market Street and is a community organisation, dedicated to empowering young people and giving them a safe, engaging and inclusive space to learn, grow and connect with others.
They also offer a variety of community support, with a community fridge and clothes bank, as well as services for home schooled children and sensory groups for younger children.
The IYC is offering a variety of school uniform from lots of different local schools, aging from young children to teenagers.
They ask in return that anyone taking school uniform leave a small donation if they can, to help them continue helping others in the community.
The clothes rail and community kitchen are open on Saturdays and they regularly post updates about their services and support on the Inspire Youth Collective Facebook page.
