Ashby's Lyric Rooms is continuing its return to live entertainment following lockdown by hosting a Soul and Motown night.

The socially-distanced and Covid-safe event goes ahead on Friday, October 16 and the ticket price of £30.00 includes entertainment, a welcome drink, three course dinner and coffee. Deposits are £5.00 per person to secure your places.

The Lyric Rooms Facebook page says: "We have updated details in our event page with timings and menus.

"Plus our guidelines for holding our first event in six months.

"Our risk assessment has been completed and we are ready for live music, great food and a social, social distanced evening which starts earlier than normal for a prompt 10pm finish.

The Lyric Rooms is also staging comedy over two nights next week with Steve Royle, plus a full support, playing on October 13 and 14.
