Ashby's 2022 events list is confirmed by Town Council as full calendar returns after lockdown years

By Graham Hill 20th Mar 2022

Ashby de la Zouch Town Council has confirmed its list of the town's events for 2022.

After two years of seeing much of the calendar cancelled due to the pandemic, Ashby's events calendar slowly began to get back to some form of normality last year.

But this is the first time the council has been able to list a complete year's worth of events since the Covid pandemic.

The highlight will be June's street party to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee - but there are a number of other events which will be welcomed back, starting with Sunday's Ashby 20 long distance run which returns in its recognised form for the first time since 2019.
