Ashby is in for yet another stormy weekend - with strong winds forecast.

A yellow wind warning has been put in place by the Met Office from mid-day on Saturday for the next 24 hours.

A spell of strong winds is expected to move northeast across the Midlands through Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.

Some could be as strong as 60mph.

This means there could be some delays on roads and problems for high-sided vehicles.

Ashby's weather for the next few days looks like this.

Light rain (total 8mm), mostly falling on Friday afternoon. Mild temperatures (max 10°C on Friday night, min 1°C on Thursday night).

Winds increasing (light winds from the WSW on Thursday night but gales from the WSW by Sat afternoon).
