Ashby town centre car crash causes 'significant damage to property and street lighting'

A car collided with a barrier in Ashby town centre on Sunday evening - causing "significant" damage.
Photos submitted to Ashby Nub News show the extent of the incident which happened at around 9.15pm.
The vehicle crash was close to homes on Wood Street with concerned residents on the street to check on what had happened.
Witnesses said that there was 'significant damage to property and street lighting' and that the driver was spoken to by police.
