Ashby will be hosting a number of special events tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday.

Market Street will be getting a visit from the Helter Skelter stilt walkers on Friday (July 17).

Helter Skelter says on its website: "For us, it is all about making a difference to someone's day, and leaving lasting impressions and memories that can be treasured for years to come.

"We are passionate about our job and our company."

On Saturday (July 17), the Artisan Market will be taking place in the North Street car park in Ashby.

The North West Leicestershire District Council-run event will run every third Saturday of the month.

You can visit food and craft stalls between 9am and 2pm, with the first market taking place on Saturday 17 July.

Also in Ashby on Saturday, The Phoenix Children's Foundation will be inviting you to visit the ponies and alpacas in Market Street.
