Ashby pub closes for new year weekend as illness means it has no staff

The Bowling Green pub in Ashby says it will be closed over all of the new year weekend due to illness among its staff.
A social media post by the pub yesterday (Thursday), says it is closed for the next four days.
The post reads: "Unfortunately, due to all of our staff being off we will be closed until next Tuesday.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the customers who have supported us over this last testing year.
"We hope our staff recover quickly and look forward to seeing you all again in the new year, Paul, Rich and the Bowling Green Staff."
