Ashby Ivanhoe will be welcoming former top flight footballer Dean Saunders to the club's Knight's Bar in November.

Saunders will be appearing at the club to tell some of the stories of a career which saw him play for Derby County, Liverpool, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest, among others - as well as being a Wales international.

The Welshman has also been a manager at Wrexham, Doncaster, Wolves, Chesterfield and Crawley.

But Saunders has also built a good reputation as an after-dinner speaker and comes highly rated as a result.
