Ashby Ivanhoe calls for volunteers to fill key roles at the club as it continues to expand

Ashby Ivanhoe FC has issued an appeal for more volunteers to be a part of the club.

The United Counties League side is enouraging people to come forward and take up roles to ensure the smooth running of the club as it continues to expand.

A social media post says: "As we continue to grow, we're on the lookout for passionate volunteers to join our team.

"Whether you're a seasoned supporter or new to the club, your skills and enthusiasm can make a real difference both on and off the pitch.

"We have a variety of key roles available that will help us provide the best experience for our players, supporters, and the community. If you love football and want to contribute to something special, we want to hear from you"

The club have listed the current available volunteer roles. They are:

• Club Secretary – A vital role handling club administration, correspondence, and league matters. Ideal for someone organised and detail oriented.

• Match Day Secretary – Ensures matchday paperwork is in order, liaises with officials, and supports team operations on game days.

• Club Welfare Officer – Responsible for ensuring the club meets safeguarding and welfare standards, creating a safe and supportive environment for all. (Training provided).

• Child Welfare Officer – Focused on safeguarding and welfare within our junior teams, working closely with coaches and parents. (Training provided).

• Match Day Coordinator – Organises volunteers and logistics on matchdays, ensuring smooth operations and a great experience for everyone at the club.

• Kit Manager – Manages team kits, ensuring everything is prepared, organised, and ready for matchdays.

• Team Physio/Sports Therapist – Provide pitch-side first aid and injury management for matchdays and training sessions. A great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in sports therapy and player welfare.

• Programme Editor – Take charge of our matchday programme, gathering content, editing features, and designing layouts to showcase our club, players, and community.
