Ashby Fire Station is recruiting on-call firefighters.

It is being described as a 'Fantastic opportunity to join our diverse crew, learn new skills and help the community. Get in touch for more information!'.

A social media post says contracts vary in terms of hours per week, from 48, 60, 72, 84, 90 or 120.

Monday to Friday hours can be 6am to 6pm or vice versa.

Saturday and Sunday hours are all day.

The post says that any enquiries, and more information, about the part-time roles can be had by calling CM Sherwin, on 07594 193388, or SM Jackson, on 07540 165175.

Or you can drop into the station in Wilfred Gardens on Tuesday evenings between 7pm-9.15pm.
