Ashby company We Shred-It is collecting donations for Ukrainian refugees at its Burton depot

Ashby company We Shred-It is preparing to transport humanitarian aid to the Polish border with Ukraine.

The South Street-based business - which offers confidential paper shredding for business and domestic customers - is asking for donations of the following items:

  • Non-perishable food that is easy to cook.
  • New unused Toiletries (not toilet paper) such as shower gels, deodorants, etc.
  • New un-opened Medicine such as Calpol, Paracetamol, etc.

Donations are being accepted from today (Monday) at the company's depot in Burton upon Trent - Unit 18, Hawkins Lane - please contact the company prior to dropping off.

We Shred-it plans to update on a regular basis with requirements and the company thanks you in advance for your support.

There is also a Go Fund Me page as We Shred-It is trying to raise £2,000.00 to purchase more items.
