Richard and Angela Bebbington will be staging their own Santa Half Marathon next Saturday (December 12th).

Team Bebbo's Santa Run 2020 will be in aid of Rotary Club of Ashby-de-la-Zouch Castle.

The husband and wife team are hoping they will be getting some support from the Ashby public for their efforts.

Ange explained: "We are running a half marathon on Saturday 12th around Ashby to help support the amazing work of Ashby Castle Rotary Club.

"We want to bring a few smiles to faces as we run around Ashby, and raise a few pounds for a very worthy local cause as we go.

"We'll be setting off around 9am and will be running in and around all the roads/estates in Ashby.

"So if you see us, give us a cheer, a wave or a beep to help us on our way."

A route update was added on Wednesday, it reads:

Starting at 9am, heading clockwise. We'll have festive tunes and jingle bells so I'm sure you'll hear us coming!

Hoping to bring smiles to many faces, and raise a few pounds for the wonderful Ashby Castle Rotary Club.
