Ashby 41 Club completed its latest climb last weekend at Staffordshire's Cheeks Point as part of a nationwide challenge.

The aim is to climb the 41 English county peaks during the National Presidency of Ashby 41 Club member Peter Good - which expires in April 2022 - he has an extra year because of Covid.

The plans also involve raising funds for Peter's chosen charity of Dementia UK.

They started in October last year, but have not been able to make serious inroads into the challenge until the recent easing of restrictions.

Some of the Northern peaks in particular will require some organisation and effort.

The most recent ascent was last Sunday in Staffordshire with Round Table members and their families - and it also doubled as a litter pick.
