Ashby Venture Theatre has announced a new improv/acting class - but places are filling up quickly.

With lockdown measures slowly easing, the North Street-based venue says the classes are open to everyone aged 16 or more.

The first one is scheduled for Thursday, July 1 between 7-8pm

The theatre's social media post says: "We will be providing improv and acting lessons, with something new every week.

"Come and learn a new skill, make new friends, have a laugh or just sit back and watch!

"No commitment necessary, come whenever you're able, enjoy a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. First session is free!

"Once we're fully booked, we will be creating a waiting list and will let you know as soon as possible when a space becomes available."
