A Festival of Archaeology talk by John Thomas, Project Manager at ULAS (University of Leicester Archaeological Services).
Burrough Hill is one of the best preserved Iron Age monuments in the East Midlands. A five year research excavation by University of Leicester archaeologists has produced a wealth of new evidence to better understand life at the hillfort and has shown the importance of Burrough Hill to Iron Age society in the region. John Thomas led the excavations.
