COMEDY COMPETITION COMES TO ASHBY-DE-LA-ZOUCH

On Wednesday, March 20, Funhouse Comedy will for the first time be bringing its 'Should I Stay or Should I Go?' competition to Ashby.

Immensely popular at other Funhouse venues, it's a competition where 10 of the best rising stars on the circuit go head-to-head for a £100 prize, but after they have been on stage, 5 audience judges with red and green cards decide whether they stay or go!

If they survive seven minutes then they make it to the final at the end of the night, where each finalist does another 60 seconds before the whole audience picks a winner.

It's a highly entertaining show. Acts including Josh Pugh and Scott Bennett played their first ever gigs on one of these nights and a previous winner was James Acaster, so you could well be seeing a future superstar.

Comedy Curry

Our home made curries are always very popular and also give you the night off from doing the dishes!

- Delicious Japanese Katsu curry served with sticky rice and naan bread

- Delicious veggie curry served with sticky rice and naan bread

- Desserts and local farm ice cream available

Curries are just £7.50 and are served from 7:15pm until the start of the show.

Tickets are £10 in advance
