MP voices concerns after proposed cancellation of Ashby and Coalville bus services

North West Leicestershire MP Amanda Hack has made her concerns known as two local bus services are set to be cancelled.
Ms Hack addressed the House of Commons today (Thursday) to say that Leicestershire County Council is removing the 129 service from Ashby de la Zouch to Loughborough and the 125 service from Castle Donington to Leicester (via Coalville).
The 129 passes through Newbold Coleorton, Griffydam and Osgathorpe before heading to Belton and Loughborough.
While the 125 includes Coalville, Hugglescote, Ellistown and Markfield.
She said: "I am extremely concerned about the impact of these changes, and I am in the process of seeking urgent clarity from Leicestershire County Council to understand if and how they will be replaced.

"As a Government, we have provided an additional £8million for Leicestershire County Council to support bus services, and I will be working with colleagues to ensure that our communities feel every penny of this funding in the areas that need it the most."
The MP has asked residents for their views via a survey HERE.
Leicestershire County Council has been contacted for comment.
