Entries for the 2023 Aldi Ashby 20 open tomorrow (Monday, October 31) at 7pm - and If history repeats itself, all 1650 places will sell out within one hour of opening.

The event made a comeback earlier this year after being cancelled in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.

The 2023 race will take place on Sunday, March 26, starting at 10am from Upper Packington Road.

The runners will head out towards Packington, commencing on a two lap course which incorporates Swepstone, Heather, and Normanton Le Heath, before returning towards Ashby, finishing the 20 mile route on the Bath Grounds.

Organised by runners for runners, the not for profit event is supported by many local organisations including Ivanhoe Runners, Rotary, Explorer Scouts, Leicestershire Search and Rescue, WI and many more.

Whilst being a highly reputed BARR Gold running event, attracting participants throughout the UK, it also helps to raise much needed funds for local and national charities.
