This weekend's Ashby events cover a wide range of entertainment and activities hopefully there is something for everyone.

If you're looking for a unique Christmas present, or some special food and drink for the festive season, Ashby's Artisan Christmas Market is for you.

This Saturday, between 10am-3pm, the North Street-based market returns with a Christmas flavour.

There will be artisan stalls, street food, carol singing, an under cover seating area and of course.... Santa!

Brew, in Market Street, has been enjoying a bit of national exposure this week thanks to their mention in a top 10 list of UK pubs.

You can sample the atmosphere for yourself this weekend as the craft beer bar has a number of events planned.

Starting tonight, Thursday, there is an Open Mic Night Hosted by Gareth Humphreys.

Then, on Saturday, Brew plays host to more pop-up street food in the shape of Gaucho Stu.

The bar's regular Lazy Sunday Afternoon session returns with Martin Jackson playing live.

The White Hart has two bands playing live this weekend.

On Friday night, OK Riot will be at the Market Street venue, with The Dark Horses playing on Saturday night.
