The Venture Theatre has a real treat for music fans on Saturday when it hosts its regular Jazz Club - featuring the Ralph Allin Quartet.

Described by one leading critic as 'Nigel Kennedy, Stephane Grappelli, and Victor Borge rolled into one', Ralph Allin is a virtuoso violinist who knows no bounds.

His creative versatility, and fresh interpretations of the great jazz standards, make his performances utterly engaging and musically satisfying.

With the complementary talents of Rich Hughes on piano, bassist Jadie Carey, and Steve Street on drums, The Ralph Allin Quartet present a programme that is guaranteed to amaze anyone, whether a casual listener or the most discerning of audiences.

 Ralph has toured internationally with Van Morrison, and played for the now King Charles at his home, Highgrove.

The Lyric Rooms is hosting a Spanish-themed evening on Friday night with a Flamenco guiarist.

It will be a night of traditional Spanish Tapas and music. A perfect way to spend an evening, whether on a date night for something slightly different to enjoy with work colleagues or friends of family.

Enjoy a fantastic experience of folkloric music traditions of southern Spain whilst dining on authentic tapas and sangria.

A unique live flamenco guitarist performance by the talented Tomas Jimenez will accompany the night.

There is a Spring Fayre on at the St Helen's Church and Community Centre on Saturday.

It promises all the fun of a traditional church fayre, with the ever popular cake stall, tombola, crafts, books, plants and silly games to play too.

Conkers is hosting an event with a difference on Saturday night with Bingo Revolution.

It is an evening of laughing, dancing and dabbing with your hosts top Comedian Cal Halbert, Glamorous Granny and DJ Jim Slipp who will be playing a mix of 80s, 90s, 00s - you can expect everything from S Club 7 to Beyonce and Wham, all tunes to keep the crowd dancing.

They will be assisted by everyone's favourite assistant Glamorous Granny who will have her usual bag of goodies to give out whilst keeping an eye on proceedings and handing out the life changing prizes.
