This weekend's Ashby events cover a wide range of entertainment and activities hopefully there is something for everyone.

It may not be the real Ginger, Sporty, Scary, Baby and Posh, but the Spicey Girls are pretty close.

The Spice Girls tribute act will be taking you back to the 90s at Conkers in Moira on Saturday night.

They are one of the first tributes to the iconic group and are renowned for their likeness to the girls with their energetic show.

The Spicey Girls have travelled all across the UK and performed on the X Factor. They deliver the Girl Power mantra in a fun packed show, full of Union Jack dresses, leopard print, pouting, high kicks, and baby bunches!

Now that the school holidays are here, Charnwood Forest Alpaca Farm begins its Summer Fun season from Monday.

The farm in Boundary is throwing open its gates where you and your family are invited to experience a day filled with activities and animals.

And it already looks like the petting farm will be popular as you can get up close and personal with Charnwood Forest's friendly animals.

As usual, there is plenty of live music in the town this weekend.

Brew in Market Street has a open mic night this evening (Thursday) followed by a Lazy Sunday Afternoon session this weekend with Sam Hinds.

In between, Brew plays host to more pop-up food on Saturday in the shape of Let's Taco About It.

The White Hart has bands on Friday and Saturday.

Friday night sees Sham Radio! at the Market Street venue, while on Saturday, Sweet Revenge play live.

The Bowling Green also has a live band on Saturday night.
