Ashby Steam returns for the first time since the outbreak of the Covid pandemic - and organisers are expecting as many as 8,000 to take advantage of the fine weather.
The two day event takes place at Charnwood Forest Alpacas between Ashby and Boundary.
There will be lots for all the family to see and do including steam engines, tractors, cars, stationary engines and trade stalls.
Plus, there is a range of children's entertainment - it should be a great day out for the whole family.
One of the organisers, Jim Hoult, says it is great to see the festival back after the enforced two-year break.
He told Ashby Nub News: "It's a day out for big boys and their toys!
"We've got vintage traction engines, cars and tractors.
"Plus there's going to be plenty for the kids to do as well.
"We started out at Moira Furnace, but the event outgrew that and will be at the Charnwood Forest Alpacas site for the third time.
"We're expecting between 4,000-8,000 people over the two days because it's going to be good weather.
"But all the money we make from this event goes to charity once we've paid for the costs of the event.
"As a committee, we meet at a later date and decide where the money goes to.
"My own personal charity is Hospice Hope."
