What's On in Ashby this weekend

The Ashby Arts Festival gets under way this weekend and lasts for more than a month.

Kicking off the events, which run throughout May and into early June, will be a street band performance in Market Street on Saturday (April 30).

From 11am, you will be able to The Valentino's Street Band who are putting on two performances outside Boots.

Valentino's play a wide range of music to keep you entertained as the Bank Holiday weekend gets under way.

Also starting on Saturday, and running through until Monday, is the HeadstART Exhibition at the Methodist Church.

Moira Replan

This is also part of the festival and features artwork by members of the Moira Replan Charity.

Away from the Festival, Moira Furnace is hosting its second Craft Fair of the Spring.

The event is now a regular feature on the calendar and visitors can expect over 50 stalls, hot food vendors, boat rides, the museum, and other entertainment.

Back in Ashby, Brew in Market Street is hosting another of its Lazy Sunday Afternoon sessions.
