A taste of Mod and Ska and a hit movie are the highlights of the weekend in the Ashby area.

The Greyhound in Boundary are hosting The Modest on tomorrow night (Friday).

The duo will be playing your favourite tunes from the Mod and Ska era - promises to be an energetic night.

Also tomorrow night (Friday), Packington Film Club's movie is Midnight in Paris.

Set in Paris, the film follows Gil Pender (Owen Wilson), a screenwriter, who is forced to confront the shortcomings of his relationship with his materialistic fiancée (Rachel McAdams) and their divergent goals, which become increasingly exaggerated as he travels back in time each night at midnight.
