Weekend Weather Warning Issued For Ashby Area

A yellow weather warning of strong winds in the Ashby area has been issued by the Met Office for this weekend.

The warning is from Saturday evening and all of Sunday.

Very strong winds are expected throughout the East Midlands from 18.00 on Saturday to 23.59 on Sunday.

Thus could affect road, rail and air travel.

And the Met Office also warns that some roads could close with a slight chance of damage to buildings.
