What's On in Ashby this weekend: Tractor Run and a tribute to one of the world's most famous bands

One of the favourite events of the year - plus a host of live music - provide the highlights in Ashby this weekend.

Sunday morning sees Jim's Tractor Run coming through Market Street in Ashby before heading off to Blackfordby and Moira.

The first tractors rumbling through the town centre will be at around 11am - returning to the Bath Grounds approximately 45 minutes later.

The vintage tractors and cars then come back into Ashby and set up in the Bath Grounds for an afternoon of fun for all the family.

Jim Hoult will be getting the vehicles together once more, just a week after the successful return of the Ashby Steam event.

Last year's Tractor Run proved popular with spectators again - coming as it did following a two year break due to the pandemic.

On Saturday night, there is live music in the ares with Revival - an Abba tribute band - playing live at Conkers.

Revival have recently been voted as the UK's Official No.1 ABBA tribute act by the Agent's Association of Great Britain.

Revival's renowned ABBA stage show has proved a hit time and time again in the UK and the world over, wowing audiences from Europe to the Middle East and just recently the band has been invited to perform a five day tour in ABBA's homeland of Sweden.

The White Hart in Ashby also has live music on Saturday night.

Derby-based Rock and Indie covers band Breach are playing live.

Brew in Market Street will be welcoming Travelling Taverna Street Food to its Market Street Bar on Saturday afternoon.

And Brew will be the place to be 24 hours later as well as it host another of its Lazy Sunday Afternoon sessions.
