Sunday saw hundreds scooters arrive in Market Street, from all over the Midlands, for the Great Ashby Gathering.

The vehicles parked up and provided a spectacular sight in the town centre.

The event centred on Ciro's Nightcub which provided live music for the scooter enthusiasts who brought a distinct Mod and Two Tone flavour to Ashby.

Alex Stanley, from Ciro's, posted online and said: "Thank you to everyone that donated to Acorns Children's Hospice - a great amount raised

"And thank you for another amazing successful year.

"Next year is the five year anniversary I think every pub in Ashby should be involved, we've have built this year after year. Let's make this bigger and better. It's great for the town and an amazing cause."

Here are some of our favourite photos and video clips from the day.
