As the nights get darker and October half-term rapidly approaches, there is a great selection of Halloween events and activities coming up, ideal for keeping your little witches and ghouls busy during the holidays or tapping into your own spooky side.

Halloween Fun at the Farm with Charnwood Forest Alpacas

Join Charnwood Forest Alpacas, now situated at Boundary just outside Ashby, have jam packed spooktacular day out for the whole family.

Their special Halloween event is running between 22 to 31 October, includes a 30 minute mini alpaca walk. Enjoy a stroll with a friendly alpacas, now with a Halloween twist.

They will also be running Crafts in the Cafe with spooky crafts, colouring and pumpkin painting.

Then watch their pigs go wild as they enjoy a pumpkin feast, smashing and munching their way through this Halloween treat.

If that's not enough, you can get up close and personal with the farmyard animals, feed the sheep, goats, alpacas, chickens and more.

Pumpkin Picking at Lodge Farm, Snarestone

Just outside Measham, Lodge Farm in Snarestone is back this year with their popular pumpkin picking.

Get into the autumn spirit as your explore the fields, picking the perfect pumpkin to take home. This wholesome activity is a great way to keep the kids busy or get your friends together and try something typically autumnal.

The Pumpkin Patch is open every day from 16 to 31 October, opening from 9am until 5pm with last entry at 4pm, closing at 4pm with last entry at 3pm on Sundays. No booking required.

Stitch's Spooktacular at Rebound

Rebound Inflatable Park are combining a Halloween spook with hit film Lilo and Stitch for their 2025 Halloween event - Stitch's Spooktacular.

Enjoy a meet and greet with Stitch and Angel, get stuck into some spooky games and try Scrump's Creation Station where you can get creative making your very own Halloween crafts to take home.

This event is taking place on Saturday 25 October between 4pm and 6pm, with limited spaces available.

Halloween Party Night at The Donington Arms

On 25 October from 8pm until late, The Donington Arms is holding a Halloween Party Night.

This free event is a great way to get the whole family in the spooky spirit with a fancy dress costume competition where the best adult and kids costume winning a prize.

There will also be pumpkin carving for kids, karaoke and lots of Halloween spirit.

Halloween Light Walk at Conkers

Ride the ghost train, explore the magical forest light walk, be mesmerised by the 4D cinema, try some Halloween crafts and strut your spooky stuff at Conkers this half term.

From 29 to 31 October, Conkers are getting in the spooky spirit with fun for the whole family!
