The Ashby Christmas Event and Food Gusto Fair is to return to the town next month.
After being suspended last year due to the Covid pandemic, Market Street will be closed for two days on December 4 and 5 so that the festive gathering can take place once more.
The event will also conclude with the switching on of the Christmas Tree lights - the tree is again sponsored by Fishers Solicitors.
Ashby de la Zouch Town Council says: "What better way to get in the Christmas spirit than nibbling your way around the food-filled Market Street at the Ashby Christmas event and Food Gusto Christmas Fair?
"The event on the 4th and 5th of December will be full of Food, Drink and Gift Ideas from Local and Regional food producers and artisans, all while listening to great local entertainment.
"In addition to this we have a very special Ashby Pantomime starring various characters such as Buttons and Peter Pan.
"Can you help Ashby find the magic of Christmas? Oh yes you can.
The event will close with the official switch on of the main tree outside Boots and the traditional snow flake finale.
"The event is held on the Market Street in Ashby de la Zouch. Entry is free!"
