The travellers who left a trail of damage to the tune of £1,200 after occupying a Measham lay-by have been banned from returning for three months.
Ashby cafe owner Paul Boyle was forced to abandon his business when the travellers arrived with a convoy of caravans and based themselves outside.
When he returned to the Ace of Spades after the travellers had been ordered to move on, he found a pile of rubbish and £1,200 worth of damage cause to the outside of his property.
Now the Multi Agency Travellers Unit Service in Leicester have said that they will not permit them to come back for a set three month period.
A statement read: "We served a direction notice under section77 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994.
"It states that the same occupants can not return for a period of three months from the date of the notice, in this case that was January 23, so will be in place until April 23.
"The notice would not cover an entirely different group of Travellers.
"However it should also be noted that this is the first encampment that we have record of in that location for over 15 years."
Paul is due to reopen his business on Monday after repairs and a clean up has taken place.
