The Winner Of Our Easter Egg Hunt Design Competition Held with St Helen's Church And Ashby Nub News

Last month, we joined up with St Helen's Church in Ashby as part of their Easter egg hunt.

We offered a £20 prize for the best design.

And our winner is Daisy Key for her excellent entry which was on display in the window during the Easter holidays.

We have pictured the winning design which helped brighten everyone up during lockdown.

St Helen's asked people to colour in, draw or paint - or decorate - an egg shape.

They were then asked to put the completed decorated eggs in front windows, as prominently as possible, so that local children can have an Ashby-wide Easter Egg Hunt when they are out on a walk as part of the permitted exercise during the Coronavirus restrictions.
