On the evening of 18 November, Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Services, Leicestershire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service were called to North Street in Ashby after a bus and five vehicles crashed into the side of Ashby Venture Theatre. 

In a post by Leicestershire Fire and Rescue, they said: 'Thankfully no one has sustained serious injuries. 

'Please remember to allow extra time for your journey, drive with patience and maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front. Reducing speed in busy areas can help prevent incidents.' 

Ashby Venture Theatre took to Facebook to respond to the incident saying: 'Well, that's one way to make an entrance!  

'A bus decided to audition for our panto and gave our theatre wall a bit of an unscripted makeover. 

'We're glad no one sustained serious injuries – the show must go on!'
