Temporary banking hub to open at Ashby Library

A temporary banking hub is opening at Ashby Library.
With plans for a permanent hub still bubbling away, Cash Access UK has confirmed it will soon be launching a temporary measure at the library on North Street.
It is expected to be up and running by Thursday, April 30, with the permanent hub on Market Street aiming to open towards the end of the year.
Chris Smith, leader of Ashby de la Zouch Town Council, said: "Ashby de la Zouch Town Council, in partnership with Ashby BID, has been working diligently behind the scenes to secure a suitable location for a temporary banking hub within the town.
"Ensuring continued access to essential banking services for all residents is of utmost importance.
"We are grateful to Ashby Library for their support and cooperation in delivering this vital service to the community."
The temporary hub will be open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
There will be a different Community Banker from the following banks in residence on their set day to help customers with more complex transactions.
Monday - Nat West
Tuesday - HSBC
Wednesday - Lloyds Banking Group
Thursday - Santander
Friday - Halifax
