Steel worth 'thousands of pounds' stolen in raid on village-based company near Ashby

Thousands of pounds worth of steel has been stolen from an Overseal company.

The incident took place at IG Masonary Support System last month.

Swadlincote Police are appealing for information in connection with the crime and have issued an CCTV image.

The Safer Neighbourhood Team posted online and said: "The burglary took place on October 17 between 22:10 and 22:40hrs.

"The offenders stole stainless steel to the value of thousands of pounds.

"Do you recognise the offenders in distinctive clothing?

"The company have employed overnight security staff to prevent any further offences.

"If have any information regarding these offences you can contact us as follows.

"Quote Occ 21*643737 for the criminal damage and Occ 21*603867 for the Burglary
