Local News by Graham Hill 31st Dec 2019

Steady Steps classes for the Over-65s will be launching in Measham next week.

The programmes are aimed at anyone that has either previously suffered a fall or might be worried about falling in the future.

They are proven to help over 65s develop strength and balance, and ultimately prevent falls.

Measham Leisure Centre, at 22 High Street, will be holding classes from Wednesday, January 8, from 1.30-2.30pm with refreshments afterwards.

There is also a Steady Steps class at Castle Donington Methodist Church.

If you think you might want to take part in this programme, or know someone that would benefit, please contact Emily Rodbourne directly on [email protected] or 01530 454755 for more information and to book. Booking is essential as spaces are limited.
