Ashby Netball visited the BBC to film as part of the BBC Make a Difference Awards for The Active Award. 

This award is awarded to an individual or group of people who have used physical activity or sport as a way of improving the lives of those in their community. 

The team went to a BBC studio to film as part of their awards nomination which will air on Tuesday 29th July, with the winner announced on 1st September. 

The club recently won three regional awards, including Club of the Year, meaning they have moved onto the National Awards. 

They are soon hoping to launch a new Walking Netball and Mixed Netball.
