Ashby's growing netball club celebrates after winning three regional awards, sending them to the National Awards. 

Ashby Netball Club is a grass-roots club with over 220 members that have been recognised recently for their contributions to the community.

The club won three awards, including Community Club Award for the club as a whole. Angela Stevens also won Unsung Hero of the Year, as well as Angela Stevens, Carla Garey and Jenni Sawyer winning Pioneer of the Year for their work in the club.

The club will now go ahead to the upcoming National Awards. 

The Diamonds Team also won the Loughborough Town Netball League and took home the trophy. 

In the future, the club is looking forward to welcoming new members as they open new opportunities for people to get involved, such as Walking Netball and Mixed Netball.
