The first draw of the North West Leicestershire Community Lottery took place on last Saturday - resulting in two cash winners.

However, there will be three guaranteed winners of the 'Super Draw' this weekend.

People who buy a ticket by midnight on Friday (August 30) will have the chance to win either £500 in Love2Shop vouchers for first place, or £250 in Love2Shop vouchers for second or third place.

Tickets can be bought HERE or over the phone on 01530 652653.

Councillor Michael Wyatt, Portfolio Holder for Communities and Climate Change at NWLDC, said "It is great to see we had two cash winners in the first draw, I have my fingers crossed that we'll see more and more winners of future draws.

"We will have guaranteed winners in our Super Draw on Saturday, so make sure to buy a ticket to be in with a chance of being one of the lucky three.

"Remember, you will be helping local organisations with every ticket bought, as well as having the chance to win money for yourself; it's a win-win situation.

"It's also never too late to sign up as a good cause and start earning funding for your organisation."
