Fishers Solicitors in Ashby has raised almost £3,500 for one of its chosen charities for last year Burton YMCA.

Together, staff rallied through various fundraising activities, including Fishers' participation in the annual sleepout event.

Last November, Fishers joined other local businesses and families at Burton Albion's Pirelli Stadium to sleep outside until the early hours of the morning in order to raise money.

A Fishers spokesperson said: "In these difficult times, we can all help make a difference and provide vital support to those in greater need. Any amount donated is greatly appreciated."

Last month, Fishers was able to present the cheque to the charity.

The money raised will go towards supporting those in crisis.

Fishers added that every penny raised will directly benefit individuals in need, reinforcing the Ivanhoe Office Park-based law firm's commitment to making a positive difference in the community.
