Comedy & Curry
Funhouse Comedy Club has a special night of comedy on Thursday July 2 at the Lyric Rooms, hosted by Scott Bennett.
Topping the bill is actor, writer and stand-up the optimistic and exuberant Laura Lexx, who has appeared on 'Live at the Apollo', with her delightfully funny take on things.
She immediately charms the audience with her quick quips and is happy to discuss anything. Her distinctive style is fantastically offbeat and hilarious, as well as both cheeky and charming, delivering even her sarcasm and irony with a sparkly grin.
Opening the night will be David Eagle, winner of Nottingham Comedy Festival New Comedian Of The Year and member of three-time BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winning band The Young'uns, with his various side-splitting-stories about being blind.
Completing the line-up will be the cheeky and cheerful Eddy Midgley with his relatable storytelling and fast moving set.

Hound of the Baskervilles
An open air production of Sherlock Holmes & The Hound of the Baskervilles runs at Osgathorpe Hall on Sunday 5 July by The Pantaloons Theatre Company.
