Save the Date: The 11th Annual Ashby Santa Fun Run and Walk
The Rotary Club of Ashby-de-la-Zouch Castle has announced the date for their 11th annual Ashby Santa Fun Run and Walk on Sunday 7th December.
The fun will kick off at 10.30am from Ashby Bath Grounds, starting with the judging of the 'Best Christmas Outfit' competition with great prizes, as always, for the winner.
The Fun Run itself will start at 11am.
Entries to join the Run (or walk) will open early October and entries will be £8 per person for all ages, with a group ticket available for four entries at £28 and additional discounts for larger groups.
The Rotary Club have also announced the local charities the Santa Run will be supporting, the first being Steps Conductive Education Centre and Wishes4Kids.
Steps Conductive Education Centre is a specialist Early Years Setting which supports families with children who have motor impairments or other conditions that affect motor skills.
Wishes4Kids is a local charity that has been created to 'grant a wish for children and youngsters in Leicestershire who are life-limited, terminally ill, have experienced life-changing physical or emotional traumas and have suffered major abuse.'
