Roots Community Singers raise £750 for Phoenix Children's Foundation charity.
Roots Community Singers have presented a cheque for £750 to the Phoenix Children's Foundation charity in Packington.
The money was raised at the group's Christmas concert, The Mistletoe Bough, which played to a sellout audience at the Ashby Venture Theatre.
The Phoenix Children's Foundation charity is based at Packington and provides support through various activities, often involving the resident animals for children with a variety of complex needs.
Representatives from the charity met the choir during their practice session and received the cheque from Julie Cooper, Chairperson.
The Phoenix Children's Foundation was established in 2006 with the sole aim of enriching and enhancing the lives of youngsters and their families living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity.
It is entirely reliant on the generosity of organisations, businesses and individuals to fund its work, and the dedication of our volunteers and trustees to run the charity on daily basis.
