As part of the Bellway Homes construction, a series of roadworks will be carried out on Burton Road in the coming weeks.

Between Monday 23rd June and Friday 4th July, the road will undergo various works, including a temporary closure. The works and closure are expected to cause delays in the area. 

From 8pm on Thursday 3rd July to 6am on Saturday 5th July, Burton Road will be closed between Castle Medical Group and with a diversion route on Ashby Road and Smisby Road. 

Furthermore, temporary multi-way traffic lights will be between Castle Medical Group and Bishop Hall Road. These will be in place until 2nd July, according to Leicestershire County Council.
