Police have reminded visitors to Calke and Ticknall that Tier 4 means you cannot leave or be outside of the place you are living unless you have a reasonable excuse.

A number of social media posts have suggested too many people are gathering for country walks in this area.

As well as the potential to break coronavirus restriction rules, there have also been cases of problems involving car parking.

This was a problem during the summer lockdown where police were particularly concerned about parking at Foremark Reservoir.

Melbourne and Mercia Police Safer Neighbourhood posted an update on their Facebook page.

They said: "Derbyshire is currently in Tier 4 which means you cannot leave or be outside of the place you are living unless you have a reasonable excuse.

"Please remember that if you are excercising outdoors you can only do so-

•By yourself

•With the people you live with

•With your support bubble

•Or when on your own, with 1 person from another household- maintaining social distancing.

"If you have driven to a location for your excercise/recreation please park legally and responsibly so not to cause an obstruction or danger to pedestrians/other road users.

"We are busy patrolling all our areas still and are keeping a close eye on areas that have been raised to us, in particular parking issues.
